Softly, slowly

Hello guys!

How are you doing?

I trust you’re well and fine. I really can’t believe we are in the third week of the new year and so far it’s been good. And this is my first style post in 2017 *drum rolls*. Remember I said I’d be wearing more neutral colours and soft colours(here) this year.

(This is totally my expression when people start saying things that’s not my business)

Part of my 2017 goals was to love unconditionally even if I don’t get the same treatment, it’s not been easy… I’ve given so many excuses for people just to love them and I just smile and let it go. I’d agree some can almost make a man go nuts but who am I not to love? This just makes me realize how unfathomable God’s love for us is because I know God still loves me unconditionally when I “mess up”.

What are you thoughts on neutral and soft colours? Have you ever had to pretend all is well and just smile? Have you ever loved and it wasn’t reciprocated? I’d love to know your thoughts.

  1. Being able to love and not get loved back sounds really easy but it is nothing close to that
But because I have God I have not been doing bad lately
Keep it up it pays eventually
I love the soft colours and those shoes are dope

  2. Neutral colors are really nice especially because you can decide to add a little bit of color to help perfect the ‘3-colour principle’. Love your entire ensemble!

  3. It’s easy to fall short of some of these things- loving people- if we keep trying on our own. We must always allow God’s constant workings in us. It’s easier that way.
We will be surprised about how much we’ve achieved in short while

  4. Nice shoes….. Keep slaying…That stuff ain’t easy mehn….Even tho you naturally want to drive a knife through the person’s chest…You just have to keep smiling and love all the same…..God’s love has indeed been shed abroad in our hearts…😘👍

  5. it’s not easy loving everyone but that’s y we have the holy spirit.By putting our trust in Christ we can do all things.Nice outfit.I am proud of you.

  6. I’m a lover of bright colours so i don’t see myself goin nude or soft when it comes to colours but who knows, maybe one of ur style posts will motivate me. About loving unconditionally, one has to be really strong @ heart, cos it’s not easy, it happens a lot with loved ones but one can u do asyds smile, pray about it nd hope evrything works fyn eventually

  7. I find neutral colours to be a classy set of colours. For me, There is something about smiling when things don’t go well because I get this assurance that all would be well soon, it may have started off as a pretend smile but it ends up making me feel better and who knows I might brighten up the day of another person going through worse by genuinely smiling at them. Tbh, it feels like crap when you love and it’s not reciprocated, but when this happens, I remember how God loves me, even when I had no regard for Him, He loved me. Doesn’t mean I’ll have to try extra hard to get them to love me but I’ll be there if they need me, pray for them and still love them, it’s not an easy task but the Spirit of God helps us where our human self is deficient, which to me is all areas, the Holy Spirit helps us. I also remember that not everyone is not supposed to be in my close circle and some need time and patience.
    Lovely blog post today 🙂
